He was a consistent performer for the Indian team. Mervyn with his body-serve and excellent finish was an exceptional forward. He was part of the Indian hockey team that won the gold medal in 1980 Summer Olympics at Moscow.
Hisashi Mizutori, is a Japanese gymnast. He was part of the Japanese team that won the gold medal in the team competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics. He was also part of the team to win the silver medal in the team event at the 2007 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. At that competition, he also won three individual bronze medals, winning them in the all-around, the floor exercise, and the horizontal bar. He is currently a professor at Keio University, Shonan Fujisawa Campus.

Mr San Peppy (1968–1998) was an American Quarter Horse stallion and a famous cutting horse. He was the National Cutting Horse Association, or NCHA, World Champion in 1973 and 1976. He was also the American Quarter Horse Association, or AQHA, World Champion in Senior Cutting in 1976, as well as being named the High Point Cutting Horse by the AQHA in 1975 and 1976. He went on to become a notable breeding stallion and was inducted into the American Quarter Horse Hall of Fame in 2011. His full brother, Peppy San, was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999.
"Fry Am the Egg Man" is the twenty-second episode in the sixth season of the American animated television series Futurama, and the 110th episode of the series overall. It originally aired August 11, 2011 on Comedy Central. The episode was written by Michael Rowe and directed by Dwayne Carey-Hill. In the episode Fry nurtures an egg purchased at a farmers' market, which later hatches into a living creature, which he names Mr. Peppy. However, upon learning of Mr. Peppy's identity and dangerous nature, Fry and the Planet Express crew decide to set him free into its home planet. They do this, only to discover that the planet's inhabitants experienced problems with Mr. Peppy's species, hunting them to extinction and intending to do the same with Mr. Peppy. The episode's title is a reference from the Beatles song "I Am the Walrus".
The Artist is a 2011 French comedy drama film in the style of a black-and-white silent film or part-talkie. It was written and directed by Michel Hazanavicius, produced by Thomas Langmann and stars Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo. The story takes place in Hollywood, between 1927 and 1932, and focuses on the relationship between a rising young actress and an older silent film star as silent cinema falls out of fashion and is replaced by the "talkies".
Peppy Kids Club is a private eikaiwa English conversation school run by iTTTi Japan for children from 2.5 years old to high-school age. As of 2012, Peppy Kids Club has over 1400 locations with 95,000 students in every prefecture including Okinawa. As of February 2011 it had 1627 Japanese and 421 foreign staff. Teachers at Peppy Kids Club teach independently and are responsible for the welfare of the students from the time they arrive at the classroom to the time the students' parents pick them up.

Peppy Polly is a lost 1919 American silent drama film directed by Elmer Clifton and starring Dorothy Gish. D. W. Griffith produced, as he did for several of Gish's films.
