Evangelicalism, also called evangelical Christianity or evangelical Protestantism, is a worldwide interdenominational movement within Protestant Christianity that emphasises the centrality of being "born again", in which an individual experiences personal conversion; the authority of the Bible as God's revelation to humanity; and spreading the Christian message. The word evangelical comes from the Greek (euangelion) word for "good news".

Angelus Temple is a Pentecostal megachurch in the Echo Park district of Los Angeles, California, United States. Founded by Aimee Semple McPherson in 1923, it is affiliated with the Foursquare Church. The senior pastor is Matthew Barnett. In 2015, the weekly attendance was 8,975 persons.

She is married to the Apostle General of the Royalhouse Chapel International, Sam Korankye Ankrah, therefore serving in the role of '' Premier Lady'' of the church which she co-founded with her husband.
