At the ARIA Music Awards of 2014, the album won the ARIA Award for Best World Music Album It was Tawadros third win in this category. [2]

At the AIR Awards of 2014, the album was nominated for Best Independent Jazz Album Album. [3]

Reception

Peter Winkler from The Music Trust said "This album is a wondrous ride through Tawadros's vivid musical imagination, accompanied by some of the most outstanding players in the world" [4]

Matt McMahon is an Australian jazz pianist and composer. Additionally he has played or recorded with many known jazz artists including Wynton Marsalis, Dale Barlow, Veronica Swift, Robert Hurst, Aaron Goldberg, Greg Osby, Phil Slater, Joseph Tawadros, Katie Noonan, Bobby Previte, Vince Jones, Dave Panichi and Steve Hunter.
