Pete Sinclair is a writer who has worked on British television and radio series such as All Along the Watchtower , Have I Got News for You , Lead Balloon , and Spitting Image .^[1]^[2] Much of his writing has been in the genres of comedy and political satire.^[3] He created the ITV sitcom Bad Move with Jack Dee in 2017.^[4]

All Along the Watchtower is a British sitcom that aired on BBC One in 1999, about an RAF site in Scotland, it was written by Pete Sinclair and Trevelyan Evans.

<i>Have I Got News for You</i> British television panel show

Have I Got News for You (HIGNFY) is a British television panel show produced by Hat Trick Productions for the BBC. Regularly broadcast since 1990, it is loosely based on the BBC Radio 4 show The News Quiz and has a topical and satirical remit.

Lead Balloon is a British television series produced by Open Mike Productions for BBC Four. The series was created and is co-written by comedian Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair. It stars Dee as Rick Spleen, a cynical and misanthropic comedian whose life is plagued by petty annoyances, disappointments and embarrassments. Raquel Cassidy, Sean Power and Tony Gardner also star. The first series of six episodes was broadcast on BBC Four in 2006, with the first episode achieving the highest ratings for a comedy on the channel. Repeats of the series were run on BBC Two and BBC HD, bringing it to a larger audience. The second series of eight episodes aired on BBC Two from November 2007; the third series aired from November 2008; and the final series aired from 31 May 2011 until 5 July.

Bad Move is a British television sitcom written by Jack Dee and Pete Sinclair, that premiered on ITV on 20 September 2017. The series stars Dee and Kerry Godliman as Steve and Nicky Rawlings, a middle-aged married couple who escape city life in Leeds by relocating to the countryside. They encounter many problems and soon regret their move.

Power Monkeys is a 2016 British political comedy series which appeared on Channel 4 in the run-up to and immediate aftermath of the 2016 UK EU membership referendum, and also lampooned the ongoing 2016 United States Presidential election campaign.

Ballot Monkeys is a 2015 British comedy series which appeared on Channel 4 in the run up to the 2015 general election. The five-part series was set on campaign buses belonging to the Conservative Party, Labour Party, Liberal Democrats and UK Independence Party featuring groups of mid-level party campaign organisers as each embarks on their respective election campaigns.

A Look Back At The Nineties was a British comedy radio series first broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 1993. Presented by Brian Perkins, the 5 episodes were a spoof look back at the years 1995 to 1999 from the standpoint of New Year's Eve 1999. Each 30 minute episode covered one year.

The Mark Steel Solution was initially broadcast on BBC Radio 5 for a series, before three series were broadcast on BBC Radio 4. The show's original slogan was "Give me thirty minutes and I’ll convince you of anything!"

Unnatural Acts was a BBC radio comedy series written by, and starring, Jeremy Hardy and Kit Hollerbach as "The Hardys" with Paul B Davies and Caroline Leddy as "Paul and Caroline". Two series were made in 1987 and 1988, with the third renamed At Home With The Hardys and broadcast in 1990. Further script input was from Pete Sinclair. The show was played as a straight sitcom but with considerable surreal elements. Much humour was had from Hollerbach's exaggeratedly American reactions to English life.
