Peter Mygind (born 28 August 1963) is a Danish actor and television personality. [1] He has had roles in films including the World War II drama Flame & Citron as well as several TV series such as Borgen , Unit One , Lars Von Trier's The Kingdom , Sommerdahl (aka: The Sommerdahl Murders) and the police drama series Anna Pihl , as the roommate of the title character. Mygind hosted the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (2011) [2] and the quiz show Boom Boom. In 2005, he participated in Vild Med Dans , the Danish production of Dancing with the Stars . [3]

Mygind was born in Frederiksberg, the son of actress and theater director Jytte Abildstrøm and her husband, Søren Mygind. His brother is Lars Mygind. [1] On 10 August 1996 he married television journalist Lise Mühlhausen. [1]
Riget is a Danish supernatural horror miniseries trilogy created by Lars von Trier, co-written by von Trier with Niels Vørsel and co-directed by von Trier with Morten Arnfred. Set in the neurosurgical ward of Copenhagen's Rigshospitalet, each episode of the show takes place over a single day, and follows the hospital's eccentric staff and patients as they encounter bizarre and sometimes supernatural phenomena. The series is notable for its wry humor, its muted sepia colour scheme, and the appearance of a chorus of dishwashers with Down syndrome, who discuss in intimate detail the strange occurrences in the hospital.

The Danish Music Awards (DMA) is a Danish award show. The show has been arranged by IFPI since 1989, and was originally called IFPI-prisen ("IFPI-Award") until 1991, when it changed its name to Dansk Grammy. It was changed to its current name, Danish Music Awards in 2001, after the American Grammy Awards registered the name "Grammy" as their trademark. MGP Junior is a Danish song contest for children aged 8 to 15. It originated in 2000 as a spin-off of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, before coming the national selection for the now-extinct MGP Nordic in 2002 and from 2006 to 2009. From 2003 to 2005, MGP Junior was Denmark's national selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, a pan-European version of the format. The songs are performed primarily in Danish and written by the participants themselves. Many past contestants have gone on to be renowned recording artists, such as 2002's Morten Fillipsen, 2003's Anne Gadegaard, and 2014's Emma Pi Hedeboe.
