William Harold PonsfordMBE was an Australian cricketer. Usually playing as an opening batsman,he formed a successful and long-lived partnership opening the batting for Victoria and Australia with Bill Woodfull,his friend and state and national captain. Ponsford is the only player to twice break the world record for the highest individual score in first-class cricket;Ponsford and Brian Lara are the only cricketers to twice score 400 runs in an innings. Ponsford holds the Australian record for a partnership in Test cricket,set in 1934 in combination with Don Bradman —the man who broke many of Ponsford's other individual records. In fact,he along with Bradman set the record for the highest partnership ever for any wicket in Test cricket history when playing on away soil
Colin Reid Miller is an Australian former cricketer who played 18 Tests for Australia between 1998 and 2001. In May 2002,Miller announced his retirement from cricket.
Clifford Archibald Roach was a West Indian cricketer who played in West Indies' first Test match in 1928. Two years later,he scored the West Indies' first century in Test matches,followed two matches later by the team's first double century. Roach played for Trinidad,but before having any great success at first-class level,he was chosen to tour England with a West Indies team in 1928 and scored over 1,000 runs. When England played in the West Indies in 1930,he recorded his ground-breaking centuries but had intermittent success at Test level afterwards. He toured Australia in 1930–31 and returned to England in 1933,when he once more passed 1,000 runs,but was dropped from the team in 1935. Within three years,he lost his place in the Trinidad team. Roach was generally inconsistent,but batted in an attacking and attractive style. Outside of cricket,he worked as a solicitor. Later in his life,he suffered from diabetes which necessitated the amputation of both his legs.
Callum James Ferguson is a former Australian cricketer and commentator who has represented Australia in all three forms of international cricket. He also represented South Australia in the JLT One-Day Cup. He was formerly the captain of the Sydney Thunder in the Big Bash League before being released at the end of the 2020–21 season
Leonard Victor Maddocks was an Australian cricketer and cricket administrator who played in seven Tests from 1954 to 1956. He was born in Beaconsfield,Victoria. He played first-class cricket for Victoria and Tasmania,and he was trapped lbw by Jim Laker to be the last dismissal of ten in an innings by the latter,at Old Trafford in 1956.

Sonny Ramadhin,CM was a West Indian cricketer,and was a dominant bowler of the 1950s. He was the first of many West Indian cricketers of Indian origin,and was one of the five Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1951. He is most famous for his performance in the West Indies' 1950 tour of England,which was immortalised in the song "Victory Calypso". He was also well known for his ability to turn the ball both ways and he was also largely known for using three short-legs along with close in fielders on the off-side during his playing days in order to exert more pressure on the batsmen. He was referred to as "a small neat man whose shirt-sleeves were always buttoned at the wrist". He was the last surviving member of the 1950 West Indies team that secured the West Indies' first-ever Test series win in England.

Fergus O'Neill is an Australian cricketer who plays domestic cricket for the Victoria cricket team. He made his List A debut for Victoria against Western Australia in the 2021–22 Marsh One-Day Cup,and his first-class debut in the 2022–23 Sheffield Shield against South Australia.
