Peter Trowbridge is an American landscape architect, Emeritus Professor, and former Chair of Landscape Architecture at Cornell University [1] [2]
He received an AS from Alfred State University, a BS/BLA degree from Syracuse University, Environmental Science and Forestry, and a Master's in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. [3]
He worked for major landscape architecture firms as a project manager, including Schumm and Werle, and Reimann/Buechner; he then became Principal of the firm, Trowbridge & Wolf Landscape Architects in 1976. Peter Trowbridge is a founding principal of Chiuten Trowbridge Landscape Architects DPC.
He has been Editor of Landscape and Urban Planning Journal , and was a Contributing Editor of Landscape Architecture Magazine . He is the Chair of the Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board, Past President, New York Upstate Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects, and Fellow of the American Society of Landscape Architects

Thom Mayne is an American architect. He is based in Los Angeles. In 1972, Mayne helped found the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), where he is a trustee and the coordinator of the Design of Cities postgraduate program. Since then he has held teaching positions at SCI-Arc, the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He is principal of Morphosis Architects, an architectural firm based in Culver City, California and New York City, New York. Mayne received the Pritzker Architecture Prize in March 2005.

Enrique Norten Rosenfeld, Hon. FAIA, is a Mexican architect and principal of the design firm TEN Arquitectos. Norten was born in Mexico City in 1954 where he graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana with a degree in architecture in 1978. He obtained a Master of Architecture from Cornell University in 1980. In 1986, he founded TEN Arquitectos in Mexico City, initiating a lifelong commitment to architecture and design.
James Corner is a landscape architect and theorist whose works exhibit a focus on "developing innovative approaches toward landscape architectural design and urbanism." His designs of note include Fresh Kills Park on Staten Island and the High Line in Manhattan, and Domino Park in Brooklyn, all in New York City.
Texas Tech University College of Architecture is the college of architecture at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. The architecture program has existed at Texas Tech University since 1927. Mohsen Mostafavi is an Iranian-American architect and educator. Mostafavi is currently the Alexander and Victoria Wiley Professor of Design at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. From 2008 through 2019, Mostafavi served as the school's dean.
The Cal Poly Pomona College of Environmental Design is a college part of the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Richard Weller is an Australian landscape architect and academic. He is Professor and former Chair of Landscape Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, having succeeded James Corner in 2013. Weller also holds the Martin and Margy Meyerson Chair of Urbanism at the University of Pennsylvania, is on the board of directors of the Landscape Architecture Foundation, Washington D.C., and is Creative Director of the award-winning LA+ Interdisciplinary Journal of Landscape Architecture. He was formerly a Winthrop Professor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Western Australia, and director of the Australian Urban Design Research Centre (AUDRC). He has received a number of awards for teaching excellence including a 2012 national citation "for sustained commitment to inspiring and enabling students to engage creatively and critically with complex design problems". In 2017, and again in 2018, Weller was named by DesignIntelligence as one of the "25 most-admired educators" based on a comprehensive survey across the US design industry. "Weller demonstrates an intense engagement and commitment to students' academic and professional careers", according to the report. "He is advancing the profession through a critical look at past and current issues in ecology and design. .. shows humility and humanity in a challenging profession, and has the ability to always call us back to the biggest ideas that design needs to address." In 2020, Weller was inducted into the Academy of Fellows of the Council of Educators in Landscape Architecture (CELA).

Kathryn Gleason is Professor of Landscape Architecture at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Also a faculty member of the Cornell Institute for Archaeology and Material Studies, her work focuses on the archaeology of landscape architecture, especially the design and interpretation of ancient Roman and Mediterranean gardens and landscapes. Her pioneering field research on archaeological methods for detecting landscape design has been conducted across the Mediterranean and the Middle East, most recently in Italy, Israel, Jordan, and India. Michael Rotondi is an American architect and educator. He has been a member of two international practices. He attended the Southern California Institute of Architecture when it began (SCI-Arc) in 1972 and, later, was director of the graduate program there.
Finding Lost Space: Theories of Urban Design is an architecture book by Roger Trancik, an educator and practitioner of urban design. The book has been translated into "simple" as well as "orthodox" Chinese translations. This book introduces the theory, vocabulary and issues of urban spatial design. It identifies and introduces the issue of ‘Lost Spaces’ that had emerged in the cities with the modern urban development and growth. The book was intended primarily for designers and students of the city. The book includes theoretical and critical discussion along with practical applications and strategies for correcting the problems of spatial structure.
