Peter Michael Wright (born 6 March 1954) is a British organist. [1]

Life and career

Born in Hertfordshire, Wright was educated at Highgate School before continuing his studies at the Royal College of Music, studying organ with Richard Popplewell and piano with Angus Morrison. As an organ scholar at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, between 1973 and 1976, he pursued his organ studies with Gillian Weir and Flor Peeters. [2]

Wright was sub-organist of Guildford Cathedral and, from 1989 to 2019, served as organist and director of music at Southwark Cathedral. [1]

He served as President of the Royal College of Organists from 2005 to 2008 and became a Fellow of the Royal School of Church Music in 2011. [2]

William Whitehead is an English concert organist. Born in Billericay at St Andrew's Centre Hospital, Essex. His father was the late Dr Peter Whitehead, a Pathologist at Billericay. William was trained through the Oxbridge and Cathedral route. One of his recordings, Dances of Life and Death was awarded a Diapason Découverte in Diapason Magazine. He is currently Associate Organist of Lincoln's Inn in London. He is curator of the Orgelbüchlein Project, an international collaboration to complete Bach's Little Organ Book. He teaches organ scholars at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

Adrian Bawtree is an English composer and organist. From 2009 until 2011, he served as the director of music at Christ's Hospital. For 22 years, he has been involved in the music industry. He has toured the Czech Republic, Hungary, and United States. He has also worked with BBC Singers.

John Millard Dunn was an Australian church organist and choirmaster. He held these positions at St Peter's Cathedral, Adelaide, for 44 years.

Ronny Krippner is a German-born British organist, conductor, teacher and composer who currently serves as Director of Music at Ripon Cathedral.

Victor Togni was a Swiss Canadian organist, improviser, composer, and teacher. His compositions received positive reception. He won first prize at the American Guild of Organists' Improvisation Competition on June 26, 1964.
