Peter Wright (born in Penrith, New South Wales) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s and 1970s. He played for the Parramatta Eels and Penrith Panthers in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership competition. [1] He played at prop.
Ryan Girdler is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australia international representative goal-kicking centre, he played his club football for the Illawarra Steelers and the Penrith Panthers, winning the 2003 NRL Premiership with the Panthers.
Luke Rooney is an Australian former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played rugby league, becoming an Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative winger while playing his club football in the NRL for the Penrith Panthers, with whom he won the 2003 NRL Premiership. From 2009 Rooney played rugby union for Toulon, as well as a stint with the Melbourne Rebels in the Super Rugby competition. He ended his career playing for RC Toulonnais in the Top 14 competition.
Royce Michael Simmons is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach. A one-club man, he played as a hooker for the Penrith Panthers in the New South Wales Rugby League (NSWRL) from 1980 to 1991, winning a premiership in his final season. Robert John "Bob" Landers (1940-1996) was an Australian professional rugby league footballer in the New South Wales Rugby League competition for the Eastern Suburbs and Penrith clubs. A long-striding wing, Landers played with the Eastern Suburbs club from (1959-1965) and played in the Roosters 1960 grand final loss to St. George. He was a student of St Josephs’ College in Sydney.
