Petr Drobisz (born 14 July 1976 is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Drobisz was suspended as part of an enquiry into corruption allegations, as announced by the Czech Football Association on 9 June 2011. [1] [2] This was later confirmed on 18 August 2011 as an 18-month suspension. [3] After his ban ended in February 2013, he signed with the newly promoted Znojmo for the 2013–14 season.

The 2013 Czech political corruption scandal started with a raid against organized crime which was conducted in the Czech Republic in June 2013 by the Police Unit for Combating Organized Crime and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in Olomouc. It involved several highly positioned state officers and politicians, as well as controversial entrepreneurs and lobbyists. The scandal affected the top levels of Czech politics, including Prime Minister Petr Nečas and his coalition government. On 17 June 2013, it resulted in the resignation of the Prime Minister and the cabinet. Nečas also quit as leader of the Civic Democratic Party (ODS).

The 2013–14 Czech First League, known as the Gambrinus liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 21st season of the Czech Republic's top-tier football league. The season began on 19 July 2013 and ended on 31 May 2014. Sparta Prague won their 36th title on 4 May 2014, after defending champions Plzeň drew against Jablonec. They ended the season with a Czech league record of 79 points out of a possible 90, winning all of their home games, and losing only one away game and drawing a further four. Sigma Olomouc and Znojmo were relegated, the latter having played its top flight debut, and the former having played in every Czech first league season since its establishment in 1993.

The 2014–15 Czech National Football League is the 22nd season of the Czech Republic's second tier football league. The season started on 2 August 2014 and ran until May 2015, with a winter break between November and March.
