Philip David Lang (born December 16,1929) is an American retired politician who was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives. [1]
Philip David Lang was born in Portland on December 16,1929. He served from 1961 to 1979,including a stint as speaker of the house from 1975 to 1978. He was an insurance company executive. [2] He also served in the United States Air Force and as a trooper with the Oregon State Police upon his graduation from Lewis &Clark College.
Lang is a former chairman of the Oregon Liquor Control Commission and of the National Alcohol Beverage Control Association. [3] [4]

The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) is a Crown agency that retails and distributes alcoholic beverages throughout the Canadian province of Ontario. Sir Philip Woolcott Game was a Royal Air Force commander,who later served as Governor of New South Wales and Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis (London). Born in Surrey in 1876,Game was educated at Charterhouse School and entered the military at Royal Military Academy Woolwich,gaining his commission in 1895. Serving with the Royal Artillery,Game saw action in the Second Boer War and the First World War. After serving with distinction and bravery,Game transferred to the Royal Flying Corps in early 1916 serving as General Trenchard's chief staff officer. Finishing the War as an acting major-general,Game remained in the Royal Air Force after the close of hostilities. Notably he served as Air Officer Commanding RAF India and Air Member for Personnel. He retired from the military in 1929,having reached the rank of air vice-marshal.

The Frigidaire Building or Templeton Building is a building in southeast Portland,Oregon listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was designed by William C. Knighton and Leslie D. Howell and completed in 1929 for O.E. (Oscar) Heintz and occupied by Frigidaire until 1934. When prohibition was repealed in 1933,the Oregon Liquor Control Commission was created through Oregon's Knox Bill. OLCC occupied the building once Frigidare left. Later it was occupied by R.J. Templeton,an auto parts distributor.
