Philadelphia Summer Championships

The Philadelphia Summer Championships are an annual figure skating competition sponsored by the IceWorks Skating Club in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. [1] [2] In 2015 and 2017, it was included on the International Skating Union's official calendar. [3] [4] Medals may be awarded in men's and women's singles.

Contents

The 2024 Philadelphia Summer Championships is scheduled to occur July 31st, 2024 through August 4th 2024 [5] .

The ISU guidelines for junior eligibility have varied throughout the years – currently, skaters must be at least 13 years old but not yet 19 before the previous 1 July, except for men competing in pair skating and ice dancing where the age maximum is 21.

The Croatian Figure Skating Championships are the figure skating national championship held annually to determine the national champions of Croatia. The ISU Challenger Series is a series of international figure skating competitions. Established by the International Skating Union in the 2014–15 season, it is a group of senior-level events ranked below the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Each event consists of at least three disciplines out of four, and is required to take place between August 1 and December 15.

Andrew Torgashev is an American figure skater. He is the 2019 CS Asian Open Trophy silver medalist, the 2016 CS Tallinn Trophy bronze medalist, the 2018 JGP Lithuania champion, the 2015 U.S. national junior champion, and the 2023 U.S. national bronze medalist.

The Lake Placid Ice Dance International is an annual international ice dance competition held in Lake Placid, New York. It was first held in 1932. In 2015 and 2016, the senior event was included on the International Skating Union's calendar. The event takes place early in the season, usually in late July. Medals are awarded at the senior and junior levels.

Camden Pulkinen is an American figure skater and he is the 2024 U.S. bronze medalist. He competed at the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics and is the first male figure skater to compete on behalf of Team USA in the men's singles event at the Winter Youth Olympic Games. He is the 2017–18 Junior Grand Prix Final silver medalist, a two-time JGP Austria champion, and the 2018 U.S. national junior champion. He finished within the top five at the 2022 World Championships and within the top six at the 2018 World Junior Championships. He is the former world record holder for the junior men's short program. He attends Columbia College of Columbia University studying financial economics.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2020 European Figure Skating Championships</span> Figure skating competition

The 2020 European Figure Skating Championships were held in Graz, Austria, on 20–26 January 2020. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation at the 2021 European Championships.

The 2023 World Junior Figure Skating Championships was held in Calgary, Canada, from February 27 to March 5, 2023. Medals were awarded in men's singles, women's singles, pairs, and ice dance. The competition determined the entry quotas for each federation at the 2024 World Junior Championships.
