Philip Edeipo (born 4 Nov 1986), is a Nigerian footballer, whose last known club was FC Kaisar in Kazakhstan Premier League.

Career

Club

On 9 April 2008, Edeipo signed for Finnish Veikkausliiga club RoPS. [1]

In 2009, Edeipo moved to China, signing for Qingdao Hailifeng. [2] When Qingdao Hailifeng were banned from football for match-fixing scandal in 2010, [3] Edeipo moved to China League One club Shenyang Dongjin in March 2010. [4]

In 2011, he spent 1 month on trials in Turkey until given a contract to Kazakhstan Premier League. [5]

On 1 April 2012, Edeipo suffered a serious knee injury that during Kaisar's week four match against FC Ordabasy. [6]

International

In September 2011, Edeipo expressed his interest in representing Kazakhstan, having previously represented Nigeria at U17 and U23 level. [7]

The 2017 FC Taraz season is the ninth successive season that the club will play in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, and 24th in total.

The 2018 FC Kaisar season is the club's second season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, and 21st in total. Kaisar will also participate in the Kazakhstan Cup.

The 2020 FC Kaisar season was the club's fourth season back in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, and 23rd in total. As well as participating in the Kazakhstan Premier League, Kaisar will defend their title in the Kazakhstan Cup. On 29 February they began their season losing 1–0 to Astana in the Kazakhstan Super Cup.

The finished the season 2nd, behind Tobol, reached the Semifinals of the Kazakhstan Cup and were knocked out of the Europa Conference League by KuPS at the Third Qualifying Round stage.
