Philip Testerman (born January 12,1927) was an American politician in the state of South Dakota. He was a member of the South Dakota State Senate and South Dakota House of Representatives. He was Assistant Minority Leader of the Senate from 1979 to 1980. [1] Holding a high school education,he was a farmer and insurance agent. [2]
Timothy Peter Johnson was an American lawyer and politician who served as a United States senator from South Dakota from 1997 to 2015. A member of the Democratic Party,he served as the United States representative for South Dakota's at-large congressional district from 1987 to 1997 and in the state legislature from 1979 to 1987. Johnson is the last Democrat to hold statewide and/or congressional office in South Dakota. He and Stephanie Herseth are also the last Democrats to win a statewide election in South Dakota,as well as a federal election.

She attended Watertown High School and graduated in 1938. Kellogg was also a secretary at the South Dakota State Highway Department,accountant,Chairwoman of the Codington County Democratic Party,and a member of the South Dakota State Democratic Party Executive Board. She was a United Methodist. Kellogg died in September 2018 at the age of 98.
