Philomin Raj worked as an editor for the third season of Naalaya Iyukunar. He worked as an editor for Lokesh Kanagaraj's corporate advertisements and a television film before working on the film Maanagaram (2017). [2] In a review of Maanagaram by The Hindu, the reviewer wrote that "The editing looks crisp shifting to the various characters and episodes leaving you curious about the rest". It is the first instalment in Lokesh Cinematic Universe. In the film, a recently released prisoner races against time to drive poisoned cops to a hospital while evading criminals in exchange for meeting his daughter.
Lokesh Kanagaraj is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works in Tamil cinema. He started his career with a short film in the 2016 anthology Aviyal, he later directed his first feature film Maanagaram (2017). He created the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) franchise after the commercial success of Kaithi (2019), the franchise's first installment.
