Phoenix is a studio album by Danish electronic rock band Carpark North. It was released in Denmark on 27 January 2014 through Copenhagen Records and Universal Music. [1]

Promotion

The first single from the album, "Army of Open Arms", was released on 22 April 2013, [2] and debuted on the Danish Singles Chart at number 21. [3]

The album's second single, "32" featuring singer Stine Bramsen of the Danish pop group Alphabeat, was released on 9 September 2013 [4] and peaked in Denmark at number 5 in January 2014. [5] A lyric video for the song was released on 23 September 2013, [6] with an official music video being released on 28 October 2013. [7]

The third single to promote the album, "You're My Fire" featuring R&B/hip-hop duo Nik & Jay, debuted at number 25 on Danish Singles Chart in February 2014. [8]

Alphabeat

Alphabeat is a Danish pop band from Silkeborg, fronted by singers Stine Bramsen and Anders Stig Gehrt Nielsen. Their single "Fascination" was a major hit in Denmark during the summer of 2007, as well as the United Kingdom in 2008. Follow-up single "10.000 Nights of Thunder" saw equal acclaim, and their eponymous debut album reached number two in Denmark and number ten in the UK. Alexander Brown is a Danish DJ. He began his career at age 15 and has received four successive nominations for Best Danish DJ. He was part of the Ministry of Sound Tour.

Morten Rask Hampenberg is a Danish music producer known for both his solo work and his cooperation with the musician Alexander Brown. In his early solo career, he only used his family name and was therefore known as Hampenberg until 2008. In 2009 he began using his full name both in his solo work and joint releases with Brown.
