Saint Phosterius the Hermit was a 7th-century Anatolian Christian hermit.
Tradition teaches that dwelt on a high mountain most likely in the wilderness of modern-day Turkey. He is commemorated on January 5/18. [1]
He is said to have been fed by an angel which serves as a testament to his holiness.
Phosterius gained renown amongst his contemporaries during the Iconoclastic Controversy in the seventh century. Due to the testimony to the truth of the Christian faith given by the witness of his holy life many people left the heresy of Iconoclasm.
Saint Phosterius is commemorated 5 January in the Eastern Orthodox and Byzantine Catholic Churches.
Saint Christopher is venerated by several Christian denominations as a martyr killed in the reign of the 3rd-century Roman emperor Decius, or alternatively under the emperor Maximinus Daia. There appears to be confusion due to the similarity in names "Decius" and "Daia". Churches and monasteries were named after him by the 7th century.

Palladius of Antioch, also known as Saint Palladius the Desert Dweller and Palladius the Hermit, was an Orthodox and Catholic saint in the Roman Empire. Palladius was a hermit in the desert near Antioch. He was a friend of Saint Simeon. Palladius died in 390 of natural causes and was canonized in pre-Congregation times.
Abraham Kidunaia was a Syriac Christian hermit and priest. He is venerated as a saint in Catholicism, Eastern Orthodoxy and Oriental Orthodoxy.
