Pia Viitanen (born 7 April 1967 in Tampere) is a Finnish politician and a member of the Social Democratic Party. She was the Minister of Culture and Housing in Alexander Stubb's cabinet. [1]

The Cabinet of Malaysia is the executive branch of the Government of Malaysia. Led by the Prime Minister,the cabinet is a council of ministers who are accountable collectively to the Parliament. According to the Article 43 of the Federal Constitution,members of the Cabinet can only be selected from members of either houses of Parliament. Formally,the Yang di-Pertuan Agong appoints all Ministers on the advice of the Prime Minister. The constitution is amended by repealing the Clause (8) of Article 43,enabling a person who is a member of State Legislative Assembly to continue to serve even while serving as a minister or deputy minister in the cabinet. Ministers other than the Prime Minister shall hold office during the pleasure of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong,unless the appointment of any Minister shall have been revoked by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Prime Minister but any Minister may resign from office. In practice,the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is obliged to follow the advice of the Prime Minister on the appointment and dismissal of ministers.

Porta Pia was one of the northern gates in the Aurelian Walls of Rome,Italy. One of Pope Pius IV's civic improvements to the city,it is named after him. Situated at the end of a new street,the Via Pia,it was designed by Michelangelo to replace the Porta Nomentana situated several hundred meters southwards,which was closed up at the same time. Construction began in 1561 and ended in 1565,after the artist's death. A 1561 bronze commemorative medal by Gian Federico Bonzagna shows an early plan by Michelangelo,very different from his final design. The façade on the outside of the city was completed in 1869 under the Neo-Classicist design by Virginio Vespignani.
Pakistan International Airlines Flight 688 was a domestic passenger flight from Multan to Islamabad with a stopover in Lahore,operated by Pakistan's flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines. On 10 July 2006,the aircraft operating the route,a Fokker F27,crashed into a mango garden after one of its two engines failed shortly after takeoff from Multan International Airport. All 41 passengers and four crewmembers on board were killed.
Arvo Albert Viitanen was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1950s. He won a silver medal in the 4 ×10 km relay at the 1956 Winter Olympics in Cortina d'Ampezzo. He was born in Uurainen,Central Finland and died in Myllykoski.
