Pihla Kaivo-oja (born 27 October 2002) [1] is a Finnish boxer. She represents the Tampereen Voimailuseura (Tampere Athletics Club).
The left-handed Kaivo-oja, who competes in the 50 kilogram weight class, won silver at the European Championship for under-22s in 2022 and bronze at the European Championships in 2021. She finished sixth in the World Championships for under-18s. [2] She has won the women's Finnish championship in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. [3] [4] Kaivo-oja has also competed in the Tammer Tournament, winning the tournament in 2022 and 2023. [5] Kaivo-oja is coached by Maarit Teuronen. She participated in 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris which she lost to Buse Naz Çakıroğlu in the quarter-finals. [6]
Before starting boxing, at the urging of her father, Kaivo-oja practiced team gymnastics, [7] which she gave up after losing her motivation due to injuries. Before moving to Tampere, Kaivo-oja lived in Kangasala. [8]

Tampere Ice Stadium is an indoor sports arena in Tampere, Finland. It is primarily used for ice hockey, and it was the former home arena of Ilves and Tappara of the Finnish Liiga, until after the matches both teams played in November 2021, they moved to the new Nokia Arena. Today, the Ice Stadium is currently in use by the Koovee team.

Marika Johanna Lehtimäki is a Finnish retired ice hockey player and former member of the Finnish national ice hockey team. She played 83 international matches with the national team and was on the bronze medal winning rosters in the women's tournament at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano and at the IIHF Women's World Championships in 1990, 1992, and 1994. With the Finnish national team she also won four IIHF European Championship medals, three gold and one bronze.
Nokia Arena, also known by its non-sponsored name Tampere Deck Arena, is an indoor arena in Tampere, Finland, which hosts ice hockey games and large cultural events. It is the home arena of Ilves and Tappara of the SM-liiga. Its construction was approved by the City Council of Tampere on 19 May 2010, and it was officially opened on 3 December 2021.
The U20 SM-sarja is the premier junior men’s ice hockey league in Finland. It was previously known as the A-nuorten SM-sarja during 1945 to 1991 and the Nuorten SM-liiga during 1991 to 2020. The league was founded by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association in 1945 and a Finnish Champion in men’s under-20 ice hockey has been named annually since the league’s inaugural season – with the exception of the 2019–20 season, in which the playoffs were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Finland left the 2020 Summer Olympics with only two bronze medals, having yet to earn a single Gold medal since the 2008 Summer Olympics.

She represented Finland in 2018 European Athletics Championships in high jump and finished 17th with a result of 186 cm. She won a bronze medal at the 2019 European Athletics U23 Championships with a result of 192 cm.

Satakunnankatu is an east–west, busy street in the center of Tampere, Finland, which is one of the city's main streets. It starts from the vicinity of Tampere Cathedral on the east side of Tammerkoski, where it separates the Jussinkylä and Kyttälä Districts. The street crosses the rapids along the Satakunta Bridge (Satakunnansilta) and runs on the west side between Finlayson and the Hämeenpuisto park. From there it continues through the Amuri area to the Pirkankatu street.
Teisko is a village and former municipality in Pirkanmaa region, Finland. It was consolidated in 1972 with Tampere, and at the same time Tampere got new districts: Kämmenniemi, Polso, Terälahti and Velaatta. Teisko's neighboring municipalities were Kangasala, Kuru, Orivesi, Ruovesi, Aitolahti and Ylöjärvi. Initially, the municipality comprised areas on both sides of Lake Näsijärvi, but in 1954, the areas west of Lake Näsijärvi were connected to Ylöjärvi and Kuru.
