Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency, or commonly called Pildat, is a Pakistani think tank which promotes democracy. [1] [2] [3] Pildat is an independent, non-profit oriented think tank that mainly focuses on democracy, governance and public policy. [4]

They also organize Youth Parliament of Pakistan.

Sherry Rehman is a Pakistani politician and former diplomat who has been the member of the Senate of Pakistan since 2015. She was the first woman Leader of the Opposition in the Senate from March 2018 to August 2018 and served as the Pakistan's Ambassador to the United States from 2011 to 2013.

Daniyal Aziz Choudhry is a Pakistani politician who served as Minister for Privatisation, in Abbasi cabinet from August 2017 to May 2018. He had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan between 1997 and May 2018.

Ibn Abdur Rehman, also known as I.A. Rehman is a Pakistani peace and human rights advocate, and a veteran communist. A protégé of the great Urdu poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, he became chief editor of the Pakistan Times newspaper in 1989. He is the founding chair of the Pakistan-India Peoples’ Forum for Peace and Democracy. He has also been a director of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) since 1990, and is a prominent human rights activist. Rehman has been influential for promoting peace in the Indo-Pakistani wars and conflicts and in Kashmir conflict as well as for other human rights issues in Pakistan.

Ahsan Iqbal Chaudhary is a Pakistani engineer and politician who is serving as the Secretary General of Pakistan Muslim League (N). Shaukat Qadir is an independent Risk and Security Analyst who works generally in South Asia, particularly in Pakistan and Afghanistan. In 1999, he became the founder and vice-president, and later president, of the semi-independent think tank Islamabad Policy Research Institute (IPRI). Ghulam Sarwar Khan is a Pakistani politician who is the current Federal Minister for Aviation, in office since 24 May 2019. Prior to this position, he was appointed as Federal Minister for Petroleum on 20 August 2018, but he was shifted to the Aviation Ministry. He has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, since August 2018. Previously, he was a member of the National Assembly from 2002 to 2007 and again from June 2013 to May 2018. He remained a member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab from 1985 to 1996.

Corruption in Pakistan is widespread, particularly in the government and lower levels of police forces. Transparency International's 2017 Corruption Perception Index ranks the country 117th out of 180 countries Pakistan saw a significant improvement in its statistics in 2013 when its ranking improved by 12 indices compared to its previous rankings – 139 out of 174 in 2012, 134 out of 182 in 2011, 143 out of 178 in 2010, and 139 out of 180 in 2009.

Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi is a Pakistani politician who served as Minister for Industries and Production, in Abbasi cabinet from August 2017 to May 2018. Abdul Razzaq Kemal was a Pakistani economist, considered "an authority on the Pakistani economy and on economic policy making". He was the director of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (1999–2006).
