Piotr Zychowicz is Polish journalist and alternate history writer.

Piotr Zychowicz, together with Jerzy Haszczyński and Katarzyna Zuchowicz, was the initiator of the action "Against Polish Camps" organized in 2005 by Rzeczpospolita , which was aimed against the usage of the term "Polish concentration camp" in foreign press; see "Polish death camp" controversy. For this action the three earned the 2005 Main Freedom of Speech Award from Polish Journalists Association  [ pl ]. [1]

National Armed Forces Polish anti-Soviet nationalist paramilitary organization

National Armed Forces was a Polish right-wing underground military organization of the National Democracy operating from 1942. During World War II, NSZ troops fought against Nazi Germany and communist partisans. There were also cases of fights with the Home Army.

National Democracy was a Polish political movement active from the second half of the 19th century under the foreign partitions of the country until the end of the Second Polish Republic. It ceased to exist after the Nazi-Soviet invasion of Poland of 1939. In its long history, National Democracy went through several stages of development. Created with the intention of promoting the fight for Poland's sovereignty against the repressive imperial regimes, the movement acquired its right-wing nationalist character following the return to independence. A founder and principal ideologue was Roman Dmowski. Other ideological fathers of the movement included Zygmunt Balicki and Jan Ludwik Popławski.

The Franco-Polish alliance was the military alliance between Poland and France that was active between the early 1920s and the outbreak of the Second World War. The initial agreements were signed in February 1921 and formally took effect in 1923. During the interwar period the alliance with Poland was one of the cornerstones of French foreign policy. Near the end of that period, along with the Franco-British alliance, it was the basis for the creation of the Allies of World War II.

Pact Ribbentrop - Beck is an alternative history novel by Polish journalist and writer Piotr Zychowicz. The book, whose full title is Pact Ribbentrop - Beck, or How Poles could have defeated the Soviet Union alongside the Third Reich, was published in 2012 by Dom Wydawniczy Rebis from Poznań. The author argues that the government of the Second Polish Republic should have accepted Adolf Hitler's offer of a joint Polish-German attack on the Soviet Union, together capturing Moscow. "Beck" refers to Józef Beck, Poland's foreign minister in the 1930s.

Piotr Pytlakowski is a Polish journalist and screenwriter, from 1997 associated with the weekly "Polityka".
