Little Pixie Geldof [1] [2] (born 17 September 1990) [3] is an English model and singer. She is the third daughter of Bob Geldof and Paula Yates.

Pixie had two sisters, Fifi Trixibelle Geldof (born 1983) and Peaches Geldof (1989–2014), and has a half-sister, Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof (born 1996), from her mother's relationship with INXS frontman Michael Hutchence. Her great-grandmother was Jewish. [6]
Her first magazine cover modelling appearance was for Tatler in 2008. [7] She has also been the face of advertising campaigns for Levi's, Diesel, Henry Holland, Razzle, Agent Provocateur, Loewe and Pringle of Scotland, as well as modelling for Vivienne Westwood, Luella and Jeremy Scott. She modelled for Debenhams in 2010.[ citation needed ]
Geldof is the lead singer of the band Violet, [8] who released their first single in May 2012. [9] She was scheduled to DJ at the 2014 Coachella in April but cancelled it due to the death of her sister. [10]
She released her first album I'm Yours in November 2016. It was recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Tony Hoffer. [11]
Geldof has a passion for marine wildlife, especially sharks. [12] She is an advocate for marine conservation and was one of the ambassadors for the #PassOnPlastic campaign against the pollution of water by single use plastic led by Project Zero and Sky Ocean Rescue. [13]
She also advocates against animal testing in the cosmetic industry. In October 2018, she was part of a delegation that went to the United Nations in New York City to present a petition launched by The Body Shop to end cosmetic animal testing worldwide. [14]
As of February 2013, Geldof lived in Upper Clapton with George Barnett, drummer of These New Puritans. [15] The couple married in June 2017 in Majorca. [16] They have one child, a daughter, born in 2021. [17]

Michael Kelland John Hutchence was an Australian singer, songwriter, and actor. He was the co-founder, lead singer, and lyricist of the rock band INXS from 1977 until his death in 1997. The band sold over 50 million records worldwide and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2001.
Band Aid was the collective name of a charity supergroup featuring mainly British and Irish musicians and recording artists. It was founded in 1984 by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise money for anti-famine efforts in Ethiopia by releasing the song "Do They Know It's Christmas?" for the Christmas market that year. On 25 November 1984, the song was recorded at Sarm West Studios in Notting Hill, London, and was released in the UK on Monday 3 December. The single surpassed the hopes of the producers to become the Christmas number one on that release. Three re-recordings of the song to raise further money for charity also topped the charts, first the Band Aid II version in 1989 and the Band Aid 20 version in 2004 and finally the Band Aid 30 version in 2014. The original was produced by Ure. The 12" version was mixed by Trevor Horn.

She is a singer-songwriter whose debut album Tragic Tiger's Sad Meltdown features songs written after the 2014 death of her half-sister, Peaches Geldof.
