Points East, Points West is a Canadian musical variety television series which aired on CBC Television in 1976.
This series featured regionally-produced entertainment specials which were intended as pilots for new series. [1]
Montreal: "Mission Moreau Possible" featured comedian and impressionist Jean-Guy Moreau leading a series of comedy and musical segments. Pat Cook produced these episodes.
Edmonton: Separate specials were developed for musicians Gabrielle Bujeaud (Bernard Picard, producer) and Nancy Nash (Don McRae, producer).
Halifax: These were produced by Ralph Waugh and starred local artists. This was the pilot for the 1977 series That Maritime Feelin' .
St. John's: Beth Harrington and David Michael were featured in these Newfoundland programmes, with Kevin O'Connell as producer.
Vancouver: Musicians and siblings Judy Ginn and Jim Walchuk, previously featured in a three-week 1973 CBC miniseries, starred in these programmes which were produced by Mike Watt. This led to the 1977 mid-year replacement series, The Judy and Jim Show .
This half-hour series was broadcast on Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. (Eastern) from 27 May to 14 October 1976.
The Muppet Show is a sketch comedy television series created by Jim Henson and starring the Muppets. The series originated as two pilot episodes produced by Henson for ABC in 1974 and 1975. While neither episode was moved forward as a series and other networks in the United States rejected Henson's proposals, British producer Lew Grade expressed enthusiasm for the project and agreed to co-produce The Muppet Show for the British channel ATV. Five seasons, totalling 120 episodes, were broadcast on ATV and other ITV franchises in the United Kingdom and in first-run syndication in the United States from 1976 to 1981. The programme was produced and recorded at the ATV Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Twixters is an International Multiplatform Comedy Series inspired by the TIME Magazine. The series was created in 2007 by satirist/filmmaker Dan Speerin of the sketch comedy group Cynically Tested to satirize life as a Millennial and to mock the false perceptions of Generation Y. The series was co-produced by fellow Cynically Tested members Alan So and Aravinth Vince Kesavamoorthy. Twixters aired on Bite TV in Canada and Propeller TV in UK. The series also aired on Triangle Stratos in New Zealand. Twixters' success and the stance of its creator on Millennial Life was featured in the Toronto Star. Other media coverage for the series included Sun TV's Canoe Live, G4 Tech TV, and The Eye Weekly Magazine. The show's indie success is mainly due to its utilization of interactive social platforms as YouTube, Facebook, MySpace and Blogs. Part of their success is based on their rebuttal on YouTube to the piece on Millennials by 60 Minutes on CBS titled Twixters vs 60 Minutes Millennials, and Millennials Fight Back!. The latter video was covered by CBS Interactive’s BNET evoking greater discussion about the fairness of the coverage of the millennial generation by 60 Minutes.

Episode 6 featured a cast of unknowns, and was not connected to either the Air Farce or Bundolo troupes.
