Srinivasa Sarja, better known by his stage name Arjun Sarja or simply Arjun, is an Indian actor, producer, and director who works predominantly in Tamil cinema in addition to Telugu and Kannada films and a few Malayalam and Hindi films. Referred to by the media and his fans as "Action King" for his roles in action films, Arjun has acted in more than 160 films, most of them being lead roles. He is one of few South Indian actors to attract fan following from multiple states of India. He has directed 12 films and also produced and distributed a number of films.
Premaloka is a 1987 Indian romantic musical film directed by Ravichandran, in his directorial debut, and produced by N. Veeraswamy under Sri Eshwari Productions. The film, based on the 1982 film Grease 2, was made simultaneously in Kannada and Tamil with the Tamil version titled Paruva Ragam. It stars Ravichandran in the lead role, alongside Juhi Chawla, Leelavathi and Lokesh in supportive roles in the Kannada version, while Jaishankar and Manorama reprise their respective roles in the Tamil version. Vishnuvardhan, Ambareesh, Tiger Prabhakar, Srinath and Urvashi made guest appearances in the film. Thengai Srinivasan, Cho Ramaswamy and Delhi Ganesh portray the respective roles of Ambareesh, Prabhakar and Srinath in the Tamil version.
Rama Rama Krishna Krishna is a 2010 Telugu language action drama film directed by Sriwass of Lakshyam fame and produced by noted producer Dil Raju. It stars Ram Pothineni, Arjun Sarja, Priya Anand, and Bindu Madhavi, in the lead roles, whilst Vineet Kumar, Nassar, Brahmanandam, Pragathi, and Sayaji Shinde play pivotal roles. The music was composed by M. M. Keeravani with cinematography by Sekhar V. Joseph and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. Upon the film's release on 12 May 2010, it received mixed reviews with critics mainly praising Ram's and Sarja's performance. It fared well at the box office.
Aakash is a 2005 Indian Kannada language romantic drama film directed by Mahesh Babu, written by Janardhana Maharshi and produced by Parvathamma Rajkumar. The film stars Puneeth Rajkumar, alongside Ramya, Ashish Vidyarthi, Kishore and Avinash. The music was composed by R. P. Patnaik, while cinematography and ediring were handled by Prasad Babu and S. Naa Peru Surya is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language action film written and directed by Vakkantham Vamsi in his directorial debut. Produced by Ramalakshmi Cine Creations, the film stars an ensemble cast including Allu Arjun, Arjun Sarja, R. Sarathkumar, Anu Emmanuel, Boman Irani, Thakur Anoop Singh, Sai Kumar, Pradeep Rawat, Harish Uthaman, Rao Ramesh, Nadhiya Moidu and Vennela Kishore. It was released on 1 November 2005. The film was a remake of the Kannada film Ulta Palta (1997), which itself was based on William Shakespeare's play The Comedy of Errors.
Khiladi (transl. Player) is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language action thriller film written and directed by Ramesh Varma who co-produced it with Satyanarayana Koneru under A Studios. The film stars Ravi Teja, Arjun Sarja, Unni Mukundan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Dimple Hayathi, Thakur Anoop Singh, Sachin Khedekar and Nikitin Dheer in pivotal roles.
