Polideportivo Delmi, is an arena in Salta, Argentina. It is primarily used for volleyball and basketball. It opened in 1986 and holds 6,000 spectators. [1]

This stadium hosted the second round groups III and IV, and the 13th to 16th and 9th to 12th classification for the 1990 FIBA World Championship. During the 2002 FIVB Men's World Championship Delmi was the venue for Pool F (first round) and Pool K (second round) matches.

Brazil won the Tournament, defeating Poland 3:0 in the final match. Bulgaria placed 3rd, defeating Serbia and Montenegro 3:1 in the 3rd place match. The Polish team dedicated this achievement to the deceased Polish volleyball player Arkadiusz Gołaś. The team honored him at the award ceremony, when they wore T-shirts with the number 16 and the words "Golas".

It is now the home ground of football clubs Juventud Antoniana and Central Norte, both playing currently in the country's third level.

The 2002 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship was the fourteenth edition of the tournament, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB. It was held in Berlin, Bremen, Dresden, Münster, Schwerin, Riesa, Leipzig and Stuttgart, Germany, from 30 August to 15 September 2002.

The World Straight Pool Championship, sometimes marked as simply the World Tournament among other names, is a pool competition, that has been held annually in United States in its present form since 2006. In addition to the host nation Poland, 23 teams qualified for the tournament by means of continental and regional competitions. The matches took place in seven venues across seven Polish cities, with the final being held at Spodek, Katowice.

The 2018 World Women's Volleyball Championship was the 18th staging of the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The final tournament was held in Japan from 29 September to 20 October 2018. Japan played hosts for this event for the third time in twelve years and the fifth time overall. The final four was held at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama.

The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship will be the 20th staging of the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship, contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The final tournament will be held in Russia from 26 August to 11 September 2022. For the first time the tournament will be hosted by Russia.

The 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship will be the 19th staging of the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship, contested by the senior women's national teams of the members of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) and the Netherlands and Poland selected as dual hosts for this event.
