Orland Steen "Spike" Loomis was an American lawyer. He was elected to be the 31st Governor of Wisconsin in 1942, but died before taking office. He previously served as the 28th Attorney General of Wisconsin. He was a member of the Wisconsin Progressive Party.

Frank Lasee is an American politician and former Republican member of the Wisconsin State Senate. He represented the 1st Senate District from 2011 until 2017, succeeding his cousin, Alan Lasee. Lasee previously served in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 2nd Assembly District from 1995 to 2009.

It is located in Chemung Township. Big Foot Prairie is located on U.S. Route 14, 5 miles (8.0 km) north of Harvard. The community originally extended into Walworth County, Wisconsin, where there is a neighborhood of the same name in the Town of Walworth.
