Pop Rescue is an Internet publication that focuses on popular music, mainly music reviews. [1] It was founded in 2014 by British musician, songwriter, vocalist, historian and journalist Andrew Martin. The publication says,
"Launched in June 2014, POP RESCUE is on a mission to rescue the forgotten, the unloved, and the misunderstood CDs (and a few records) that spend their days in charity and discount stores, and that are pushed around the internet on eBay.
Once rescued, POP RESCUE dusts them off, and gives them a play, and writes them a brand new review.
Some albums are rarely seen in charity stores - others are very common. POP RESCUE strives to give each new rescue a fair and honest review, to help you know what you're buying when you next see a copy in your charity and discount store, or online auction site." [2]
Their reviews are divided into the 1980s, the 1990s and the 2000s. They are also posting reviews on Facebook [3] and Twitter. [4]
