Early life and career

Portable was born on 12 March 1994 in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. [3] He gained mainstream attention after the single "ZaZoo Zehh", where he featured Olamide and Poco Lee. [4] [5] [6] He publicly accused Kogbagidi [7] a business partner on social media of allegedly scamming him in a deal involving artist management. [8]

Controversy

Portable was arrested by the Ogun State Police Command after he failed to comply with a 72-hour ultimatum to surrender himself in connection with an alleged assault, as per a police invitation. In the early hours of Monday, 3 April 2023, Portable was charged in the Ifo high court in Ogun state. [9] [10] [11] [12]

Family

Portable has 5 children from different women, including a son with Nollywood actress Akinyanju Omobolarinde. [13]

The Headies is a music awards show established in 2006 by the Hip Hop World Magazine of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry. The annual ceremony features performances by established and promising artists. It is broadcast live on HipTV to viewers across Nigeria. The first and second editions of The Headies were held at the Muson Center in Onikan, Lagos State. Between 2010 and 2012, the awards were held at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos.
