The Portland Pilots women's soccer team represents the University of Portland in National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I women's soccer. The team competes in the West Coast Conference and is currently coached by Michelle French. The Pilots won national championships in 2002 and 2005.

In May 2018 the National Soccer Hall of Fame announced Milbrett will be enshrined in the Hall. She won an Olympic gold medal in 1996 in Atlanta and a silver medal at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney. She also played in three World Cups, winning in 1999. Garrett Smith is an American former soccer defender who played professionally in the Western Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League, Major Indoor Soccer League and Continental Indoor Soccer League. Since 1992, he has served as an assistant coach with the University of Portland's men's and women's soccer teams. In 2003, he became the head coach of the women's team, winning the 2005 National Championship. He was 2007 NCAA Coach of the Year.
