Powell High School is a high school in Powell, Wyoming, United States. It is located in northwest Wyoming. The district is bordered by Montana on the north and Yellowstone Park on the west. [2]

The school's mascot is the Panther. It is in the 3A classification for Wyoming sports.

In fall 2008, after a $20 million reconstruction project, mice invaded the high school building and infested its classrooms. [3] [4]

The Heart Mountain War Relocation Center, named after nearby Heart Mountain and located midway between the towns of Cody and Powell in northwest Wyoming, was one of ten concentration camps used for the internment of Japanese Americans evicted from the West Coast Exclusion Zone during World War II by executive order from President Franklin Roosevelt after the bombing of Pearl Harbor in December 1941, upon the recommendation of Lieutenant General John L. DeWitt.

Wyoming High School (WHS) is a public high school located in Wyoming, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. The school is operated by the Wyoming City School District, in Hamilton County. Wyoming High School was ranked the 2nd best Ohio high school by US News in 2017. The school received a score of 84.2 out of 100. This was the second year in a row for the school, scoring an 80.2 in 2016. In 2015 Wyoming placed 4th with a score of 73.5. Wyoming was ranked among the top five districts in the state on the Ohio 2006 State Report Card, with a performance index rating of 108.6. This was its second year running of being one of the top-performing school districts in the state of Ohio. Cody High School is a secondary school in Cody, Wyoming, United States. It is part of Park County School District #6. Cody has a student population of approximately 600 students. The school's mascots are the broncs and fillies, and the colors are blue and gold. The school is the long-time rival of Powell High School.

KYDZ "Kids 90" was a high school radio station at Cody High School in Cody, Wyoming. The station's license was held by Park County School District Number 6, and it operated on 90.1 MHz from 1976 to 1996.
