The All India Trinamool Congress is an Indian political party that is mainly influential in the state of West Bengal. It was founded by Mamata Banerjee on 1 January 1998 as a breakaway faction from the Indian National Congress and rapidly rose to prominence in the politics of West Bengal under her leadership. Presently,it is ruling the state of West Bengal beside being the third-largest party in India in terms of number of MPs just after the BJP and INC.
The West Bengal Legislative Assembly is the unicameral legislature of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located in the B. B. D. Bagh area of Kolkata,the capital of the state. Before the creation of Trinamool Congress,he was a member of Indian National Congress. Between 2017 and 2021,Roy left Trinamool Congress to join Bharatiya Janata Party. In 2021,he left BJP and joined TMC.

The Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT) is a regional political party in Tripura,India. It is a member of the National Democratic Alliance and North-East Democratic Alliance. The party was merged into the Indigenous Nationalist Party of Tripura (INPT) in 2001,However diverged out in 2009. The party is allied with BJP in the 2018 Tripura Legislative Assembly election and won eight seats out of eight contested seats. The party got 7.5% of the total votes polled. The BJP got 36 seats and with a total of 44 seats the BJP-IPFT coalition have two-thirds majority at the Legislative Assembly.
Sudip Roy Barman is an Indian politician from Tripura. He served as the MLA of the Tripura Legislative Assembly from the Agartala constituency which he held since 1998 by winning four elections consecutively on INC ticket by handsome margins. In 2018,he contested from Agartala constituency and won on BJP ticket. On 7 February 2022,he quit BJP and resigned from his MLA post. On 8 February he joined the Indian National Congress in Delhi. Again on 23 June 2022,he contested from Agartala constituency and won on INC ticket defeating his nearest rival of BJP by more than 3500 votes.
The North-East Democratic Alliance is a political coalition that was formed on May 24,2016,by Bharatiya Janata Party. The motive of the new political front was to unite non-Congress parties in Northeast India .Himanta Biswa Sarma was appointed as the convenor of the front.
Subhranshu Roy is an Indian politician of All India Trinamool Congress from the state of West Bengal. He is a two term member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly. On 29 May 2017,he joined Bharatiya Janata Party and later Trinamool Congress suspended him for six years. He is the former MLA from Bijpur.

2023 Tripura Legislative Assembly elections were held on 16 February 2023 to elect all 60 members of the Tripura Legislative Assembly. The votes were counted and the results were declared on 2 March 2023.
Biplab Mitra is an Indian politician and the present Minister of Consumer Affairs in the Government of West Bengal. He has been elected twice as a Member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly,representing the Harirampur Assembly constituency in 2011 and 2021 as a member of TMC party.

The Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of West Bengal constituted after the 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections which were concluded earlier on 29 April 2021 and the results were announced on 2 May 2021. The tenure of West Bengal Legislative Assembly is scheduled to end on 7 May 2026.
