Prashant Raj is a model and actor from Mumbai, India who debuted in Ram Gopal Varma's remake of Ramesh Sippy's Sholay , titled Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag .
Sachdev is a former model and a struggling from Mumbai, India who landed the role played by Amitabh Bachchan in Ramesh Sippy's Sholay, remade by Ram Gopal Varma as Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag. His second film, Toss , was released 28 August 2009. It was also the debut vehicle for Roadies' Rannvijay Singh and Madhuurima, and the film co-stars Aarti Chhabria and Ashmit Patel. In Aag, he played the role of Raj, originally played by Amitabh Bachchan as Jai. The original name of the film was Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay, however, due to copyright concerns, the name had to be changed.
Appeared in several Lakme India Fashion Week shows in Mumbai and Delhi. Sachdev, who is 6'3", has done ramp and print campaigns in India, Sri Lanka, and Ecuador. He was on a team with model Sahil Shroff on the AXN Network's The Amazing Race Asia reality/adventure TV show, in their first Asian season.

Sholay is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language action-adventure film directed by Ramesh Sippy, produced by his father G. P. Sippy, and written by Salim–Javed. The film is about two criminals, Veeru (Dharmendra) and Jai, hired by a retired police officer to capture the ruthless dacoit Gabbar Singh. Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri also star, as Veeru and Jai's love interests, Basanti and Radha, respectively. Sholay is considered a classic and one of the best Indian films. It was ranked first in the British Film Institute's 2002 poll of "Top 10 Indian Films" of all time. In 2005, the judges of the 50th Filmfare Awards named it the Best Film of 50 Years.

Gabbar Singh is a fictional character and the antagonist of the 1975 Bollywood film Sholay. It was written by the duo Salim–Javed, consisting of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. Played by Amjad Khan, he is depicted in Sholay as a dacoit with an evil laugh much like "El Indio", the robber, from the Western film For a Few Dollars More, who leads a group in looting and plundering the villages in the region of Ramgarh. He has a sadistic personality and insists on killing whenever required to continue his status and to take revenge on his enemies. The character is considered to be one of the most iconic villains in Indian cinema. He was featured in the 1991 spoof Ramgarh Ke Sholay, with Khan portraying a parody version of the character. His famous dialogues include -" Yahan se pachas pachas kos door gaon mein ' jab bachcha raat ko rota hai, toh maa kehti hai bete soo ja ' soo ja nahi toh Gabbar Singh aa jayega", "Kitne aadmi the?", "Arre O Samba", "Tera kya hoga Kalia?", "Kab holi, holi kab hai", and "Ye haath humko dede Thakur".
