Pratt Gilbert Lyons Jr. (born September 17, 1974) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for two seasons for the Tennessee Oilers of the National Football League (NFL). [2]

Lyons played college football for the Utah State Aggies and Troy Trojans before being selected by the Oilers in the fourth round of the 1997 NFL draft. [3] [1]

This was the first season that Tennessee had ever lost to the cross-state University of Memphis Tigers.

He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers where he holds the schools records for career receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. In Week 15 of the 1997 season, he scored his lone NFL touchdown on an 11-yard reception against the Bengals. In 1999, the Titans made it to Super Bowl XXXIV, in which Kent appeared as a substitute.
