Prattica Terza is a chamber musical ensemble playing Baroque music on period instruments. It was founded in 2007 by young musicians in Saint Petersburg, Russia. [1]
A musical ensemble, also known as a music group or musical group, is a group of people who perform instrumental or vocal music, with the ensemble typically known by a distinct name. Baroque music is a period or style of Western art music composed from approximately 1600 to 1750. This era followed the Renaissance music era, and was followed in turn by the Classical era. Baroque music forms a major portion of the "classical music" canon, and is now widely studied, performed, and listened to.
