Premio Galileo

The Premio Galileo 2000 is a foundation founded in 1996 by the Italian lawyer and former parliamentary candidate Alfonso De Virgiliis as an organization whose main purpose is " to support and promote a music event that is the expression of the artistic continuity of the time". [1] [2] The foundation awards a varying series of prizes (the Premio Galileo) in different fields and for stated accomplishments. The event is held annually at the Teatro della Pergola in Florence, Italy. [3]
