PrepStar College Recruiting, known also as PrepStar, is an online magazine at www.prepstar.com, which was established in 1982. [1] It provides information on the top football and basketball prospects in the United States. [1] [2] [3] [4] The online magazine is produced by College Sports USA, which was founded by Jeff Duva, a former college quarterback, and Jack Wright. [5]

In 1999, Duva was its publisher, and Rick Kimbrel was its editor. [6] [7] [8] [9] It is located in Woodland Hills, California. [10] [11]

Hula Bowl

Don Bosco Preparatory High School is a private, all-boys Roman Catholic high school from ninth through twelfth grades. Founded in 1915 as a boarding school for Polish boys, by the Salesians of Don Bosco, a religious community of priests and brothers, the school is situated on a 35-acre (14 ha) campus in Ramsey, in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. The school is operated under the supervision of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Newark.

Gib Arnold

Gibson Kirk Arnold is an American college basketball player and coach. He worked in the NBA in the front office of the Boston Celtics until June of 2020. He currently is completing his masters degree from Harvard University in Clinical Psychology. Arnold is the founder and CEO of MindBodySoul Training, a sports science based program that promotes daily training of the Mind, Body, and Prosocial Behavior to become your best athlete and best self. He owns WorldToursSports LLC a licensed and bonded adventure & sports travel and event agency. Arnold also started the non profit organization GiveBackBroterhood, a perpetual scholarship fund for underprivileged youth to pursue their academic and athletic dreams.

David Bailey is an American professional basketball player. He is most notable for his time spent as point guard for the Loyola Ramblers men's basketball team from 1999 to 2003. He was a three-time All-Horizon League selection, a Horizon League scoring champion, a Horizon League assists champion and Horizon League All-Tournament team selection. He is the older brother, crosstown Horizon League foe and former George Westinghouse College Prep teammate of Martell Bailey. The brothers' tenure in the league overlapped for two seasons, including one in which they were both All-League honorees. They played head-to-head several times, including a Horizon League Men's Basketball Tournament championship game in which both were key performers.

Jabari Parker American basketball player

Jabari Ali Parker is an American professional basketball player for the Sacramento Kings of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the second overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. He ended his college career after one season of playing for Duke University. Parker was a standout high school athlete, helping his team win four straight state championships for Simeon Career Academy, and was named the National High School Player of the Year by Gatorade and McDonald's. In his freshman year for the 2013–14 Duke Blue Devils, he was named a consensus first-team All-American, the USBWA National Freshman of the Year, and the runner-up for the John R. Wooden Award. Parker is the son of former NBA player Sonny Parker.

Rocky Lee Hinds is an indoor football Quarterback for the Wichita Force of Champions Indoor Football (CIF). Rocky was the starting quarterback for the UNLV Rebels after transferring from the University of Southern California.

Jahlil Okafor American-Nigerian basketball player

Jahlil Obika Okafor is a Nigerian-American professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played his freshman season of college for the 2014–15 Duke national championship team. He was selected with the third overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He has previously played in the NBA for the 76ers and Brooklyn Nets.

Super Prep is a sports magazine based in Laguna Beach, California, published in since 1985. It was founded and is published by Allen Wallace, a lawyer. Its main focus is to provide recruiting information on high school football players.

The Parade All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by Parade that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the Parade All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports. Started by the Sunday magazine in 1957, it had been the longest ongoing selection of high school basketball All-Americans in the country at the time of its final selections in 2015. Many of the honorees went on to star as college and professional basketball players. As of March 2011, there were 162 Parade All-Americans that were playing in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

LaMelo LaFrance Ball is an American professional basketball player for the Charlotte Hornets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected by the Hornets with the third overall pick of the 2020 NBA draft.

Zion Williamson American basketball player

Zion Lateef Williamson is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays the power forward position. Following a dominant freshman-year stint with the Duke Blue Devils, Williamson was selected by the Pelicans with the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2020.

Bol Manute Bol is an American professional basketball player for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Oregon Ducks. A son of basketball player Manute Bol, Bol was born in Khartoum, Sudan, but began living in Kansas from a young age. In high school, Bol was considered one of the best players in the class of 2018, having been rated a consensus five-star recruit and earning McDonald's All-American honors. A center listed at 7 feet 2 inches (2.18 m), he is one of the tallest players in the NBA.
