Pressure Drop are an English electronic music duo made up of Justin Langlands and Dave Henley.
Pressure Drop released their first single Feeling Good in March 1990. It was written and produced by Justin Langlands, Mike Puxley and Gareth Tasker, but when Puxley and Tasker left, Dave Henley joined. Since then Pressure Drop has been a duo. [1] [2]
Langlands and Henley had known each other since 1986, [3] and started DJing together at London's Wag Club after being introduced by Paul Guntrip. [4] [1] Langlands and Henley's first single together as Pressure Drop was Back 2 Back released on Big World Records in September 1990. [1]
After recording the debut album Upset, their English label closed and was only initially released by Marlboro Music in Germany in 1992, [5] [6] and later in England in 1993 on Logic. [1] James Lavelle sold imported copies of the album at Honest Jon's, the record store he worked at prior to setting up his record label Mo' Wax. [4] He would later credit Pressue Drop for helping define the sound of his label. [4]
Pressure Drop's second album Front Row was released in 1993 on Marlboro Music and in Japan on Meldac in 1994. [1]
Their music was largely unavailable in England until they released Tearing The Silence EP on Leftfield's Hard Hands label in 1995, [7] and their third album Elusive in 1997. [3] During this period, they were likened to the current Trip Hop music trend, [8] such as Massive Attack, Portishead, and Tricky, [7] [8] [9] as their album received wider release than had been possible before. In 2001, Pressure Drop released their fourth album Tread. [13] [14] They had relocated to Brighton in 1998 to begin work on the album. [4] The album featured vocals from Martin Fishley, MC Skibadee, and Vanessa Freeman. [4]
Food of Love, a compilation of their previous work and remixes, was released in 2003. Touch magazine called it "a timely retrospective of an important, but low key British collective." [15]
Pressure Drop hosted a weekly radio program on German's Sputnik under their alias Blood Brothers. [16] Titled Blood Brothers Broadcasting Corporation, it featured their own live DJ mixes, as well as guest mixes and interviews with musicians and producers, [17] and was available throughout Europe via the Astra satellite network. [18] Broadcast between 1992-1997, the programs were eventually digitised from cassette and made available online. [19]

Coldcut are an English electronic music duo composed of Matt Black and Jonathan More. Credited as pioneers for pop sampling in the 1980s, Coldcut are also considered the first stars of UK electronic dance music due to their innovative style, which featured cut-up samples of hip-hop, soul, funk, spoken word and various other types of music, as well as video and multimedia. According to Spin, "in '87 Coldcut pioneered the British fad for 'DJ records'".

Donald Hugh Henley is an American musician, and a founding member of the rock band Eagles, for whom he is the drummer and one of the lead vocalists, as well as the sole continuous member of the band. Henley sang the lead vocals on Eagles hits such as "Witchy Woman", "Desperado", "Best of My Love", "One of These Nights", "Hotel California", "Life in the Fast Lane", "The Last Resort", "The Long Run" and "Get Over It".
8Ball & MJG is an American hip hop duo from Memphis, Tennessee. They met at Ridgeway Middle School in 1984. In 1993, the duo released their debut album Comin' Out Hard. They went on to release On the Outside Looking In (1994), On Top of the World (1995), In Our Lifetime (1999), Space Age 4 Eva (2000), Living Legends (2004), Ridin High (2007) and Ten Toes Down (2010).

Homework is the debut studio album by the French electronic music duo Daft Punk, released on 20 January 1997 by Virgin Records and Soma Quality Recordings. It was later released in the United States on 25 March 1997. As the duo's first project on a major label, they produced the album's tracks without plans to release them, but after initially considering releasing them as separate singles, they considered the material good enough for an album.

Their best-known albums are The Infamous (1995), Hell on Earth (1996) and Murda Muzik (1999), and their most successful singles were "Shook Ones " and "Survival of the Fittest." They were known for their dark and hardcore delivery.
Dillinger & Young Gotti is the second studio album by American hip hop group Tha Dogg Pound. It was released independently on May 1, 2001, through D.P.G. Recordz. Production was handled by member Daz Dillinger, who also served as executive producer, Mike Dean and Blaqthoven. It features guest appearances from Beanie Sigel, RBX, Roscoe, Slip Capone and Xzibit.
Journeys by DJ originated as a UK dance music record label, which started as a series of DJ mix albums or mixtapes on the Music Unites label in 1992, and moved from London to New York City in 2000. Journeys by DJ was the first record label to focus exclusively on the art and format of the DJ mix, as opposed to singles, 12" singles, artist albums and compilations. As acclaimed in the authoritative Last Night a DJ Saved My Life: The Story of the Disc Jockey, Journeys by DJ (JDJ) was the first label to release full-length mixes of live DJ sets on CD. Other labels since the 70s released recordings of DJs spinning live, along with DJ-friendly vinyl "megamixes", and the 80s saw innumerable illegal mix tapes flood the market, but Journeys by DJ was the first label to set its stall out on the proposition that dance music is best heard in the mix, with high production values, and that the DJ can transcend the role of human jukebox to become a narrative artist and guide into the unknown.

Yellow Claw is a Dutch DJ and record production duo from Amsterdam consisting of Jim Taihuttu, based in Bali, and Nils Rondhuis, based in Amsterdam. The duo's music is a mix of a wide range of genres and often incorporates elements from trap, hip hop, dubstep, hardstyle and moombahton.
Matt Quinn, known by his stage name Optical, is a British musician, producer and DJ. He is co-founder and owner of Virus Recordings, a widely regarded drum and bass record label. He is best known as one half of drum and bass duo Ed Rush and Optical, whose debut album Wormhole has been described as one of the most significant LPs of the drum and bass genre. He is also the brother of Jamie Quinn also known as Matrix.
"White Reflection" is the sixth single by J-pop duo Two-Mix, released by King Records on January 15, 1997. Composed by the duo of Shiina Nagano and Minami Takayama, the song was used as the ending theme of the anime OVA series Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.
