Preston Riki (born 24 March 1998) is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer who plays as a second-row for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL. He won the 2024 NRL Grand Finals with the Penrith Panthers.

Background

Riki attended Mt. Albert Grammar School in Auckland, New Zealand, playing junior rugby league being a part of the New Zealand Warriors pathway system.[ citation needed ]

Playing career

Riki played NSW Cup for the Warriors in 2017, before playing for the Redcliffe Dolphins in Queensland Cup in 2021. In 2022, Riki signed for Penrith.[ citation needed ]

2024

In round 13 2024, Riki made his NRL debut for Penrith off the bench against the St. George Illawarra Dragons at BlueBet Stadium in a 22–12 loss.[ citation needed ]

On 6 October, he won the 2024 NRL Grand Finals with the Panthers, the 4th consecutive win for the Penrith Panthers club.
