Prevas Industrial Linux is provided with the OE-lite Linux or Yocto Project integration tools. [6] Prevas has been involved in the development of many OE-lite Linux integration tools. [7]

The project was announced by the Linux Foundation in 2010 and launched in March, 2011, in collaboration with 22 organizations, including OpenEmbedded.
