Prime Motivator is the fourth full-length LP by The Giraffes. It was recorded and mixed at Studio G in Brooklyn, NY by Joel Hamilton.

The Giraffes (Brooklyn band)

Formed in 1996 by Damien Paris, Andrew Totolos and Tim Kent, The Giraffes are an active hard rock band from New York City. In 2001 Singer Aaron Lazar joined the band and was with them till 2011, until he took a three years hiatus. In that time one record was released In 2014 singer Aaron Lazar rejoined the band and released the EP USURY. The current line-up consists of singer Aaron Lazar, guitarist Damien Paris, drummer Andrew Totolos, and bassist Hannah Moorhead. Their latest album, Flower of the Cosmos comes out this year 2019 and was recorded at Studio G in Brooklyn and produced by Tony Maimone and Francisco Botero.

Joel Hamilton is a Brooklyn-based record producer, engineer and musician. Joel performs as a musician with the band Book of Knots. He is also a producer and engineer at Studio G in Brooklyn, New York.

On July 25, 2010, the song "Done" was released by Ozone Entertainment as downloadable content on the Rock Band Network for Xbox 360. [1] On August 3, 2011, the first Rock Band mashup song "American Hero vs. Done" mixed by Robin Skouteris and featuring Ron Wasserman and The Giraffes was also released by Ozone Entertainment as downloadable content on the Rock Band Network for Xbox 360. Downloadable content (DLC) is additional content created for an already released video game, distributed through the Internet by the game's publisher. The Rock Band Network was a downloadable content service designed by Harmonix with the help of Microsoft to allow musical artists and record labels to make their music available as playable tracks for the Rock Band series of rhythm video games, starting with Rock Band 2. It was designed to allow more music to be incorporated into Rock Band than Harmonix themselves could produce for the games, and it was seen as a way to further expand the games' music catalog into a wide variety of genres. The Network started closed beta testing in September 2009, and an open beta test in January 2010. The Rock Band Network Store was publicly available on March 4, 2010 for all Xbox 360 players in selected countries. Rock Band Network songs were exclusive to the Xbox 360 for 30 days on each song's release, after which a selection of songs would be made available on the PlayStation 3.

The Xbox 360 is a home video game console developed by Microsoft. As the successor to the original Xbox, it is the second console in the Xbox series. It competed with Sony's PlayStation 3 and Nintendo's Wii as part of the seventh generation of video game consoles. It was officially unveiled on MTV on May 12, 2005, with detailed launch and game information announced later that month at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The game allows up to four players to simulate the performance of popular songs by playing with controllers modeled after musical instruments. Players can play the lead guitar, bass guitar, and drums parts to songs with "instrument controllers", as well as sing through a USB microphone. Players are scored on their ability to match scrolling musical "notes" while playing instruments, or by their ability to match the singer's pitch on vocals.
