Prison Break is the first soundtrack of the American television series Prison Break , composed by Ramin Djawadi, and was released in 2007, bringing together music used for seasons 1 and 2. Released in August 2007, the album includes thirty-one music composed specially for seasons 1 and 2 of Prison Break, although many will be included in the following seasons, in their original version or variant.

<i>Prison Break</i> American TV series

Prison Break is an American television serial drama created by Paul Scheuring, that was broadcast on Fox for four seasons, with 81 episodes from August 29, 2005 to May 15, 2009, and a fifth season which aired from April 4, to May 30, 2017. The series revolves around two brothers, Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield ; Burrows has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit, and Scofield devises an elaborate plan to help his brother escape prison and clear his name. The series was produced by Adelstein-Parouse Productions, in association with Original Television and 20th Century Fox Television. Along with creator Paul Scheuring, the series is executive produced by Matt Olmstead, Kevin Hooks, Marty Adelstein, Dawn Parouse, Neal H. Moritz, and Brett Ratner who directed the pilot episode. The series' theme music, composed by Ramin Djawadi, was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2006.

Ramin Djawadi German composer

Ramin Djawadi is an Iranian-German score composer. His score for the 2008 Marvel film Iron Man was nominated for a Grammy Award. He has also scored movies such as Clash of the Titans, Pacific Rim, Warcraft, A Wrinkle in Time, and Slender Man, and for television series including Game of Thrones, Prison Break, Person of Interest, Jack Ryan, and Westworld. He won an Emmy Award for the Game of Thrones episode "The Dragon and the Wolf".

The first title, Main Titles, lets see that generic start and end of the original form only a single music. This is a title created for the pilot episode. In addition, the album contains only the creations of Ramin Djawadi, thus, all other music or songs used in the series are not present. [1] The Main Title, was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in 2006. [2]

The Primetime Emmy Award is an American award bestowed by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) in recognition of excellence in American primetime television programming. First given out in 1949, the award was originally referred to as simply the "Emmy Awards" until the first Daytime Emmy Award ceremony was held in 1974 and the word "prime time" was added to distinguish between the two.

"Game of Thrones Theme", also referred to as "Game of Thrones Main Title Theme", is the theme music of the television series Game of Thrones. It plays during the title sequence and was composed by Ramin Djawadi in 2011, after series creator David Benioff and D. B. Weiss approached him requesting a theme. Asked to avoid flutes and violins, which the producers felt were overused in fantasy themes, Djawadi used the cello as the lead instrument. The piece begins in a minor key, then switches between corresponding major and minor keys repeatedly. Djawadi was shown a preliminary rendering of the title sequence before composing this music to accompany it. Several artists have covered or parodied the music, sometimes adding lyrics to the originally instrumental work.
