The Progressive Party of the Cook Islands is a political party in the Cook Islands. It was established in October 2019 and is led by public servant Te Tuhi Kelly. [1] It advocates public service reform and plans to contest the 2022 Cook Islands general election. [2]

Party leader Kelly has posted statements sceptical of COVID-19 vaccines and vaccine mandates on the official party Facebook page. [3]

The party won no seats in the 2022 election. [4]

A by-election was held in the Cook Islands electorate of Tengatangi-Areora-Ngatiarua on 14 November 2019. The by-election was triggered by the resignation of MP Te-Hani Brown following an earlier by-election. The by-election was won by Te-Hani Brown.
