The first season of the Singaporean reality talent show Project SuperStar began on 22 June 2005 on MediaCorp Channel U. The show is hosted by Quan Yi Fong and Jeff Wang. The overall winner and runner-up received a talent management contract with Play Music and Universal Music Singapore respectively, together with MediaCorp. Billy Koh, Lee Wei Song, Roy Loi, Anthony Png and Dawn Yip were employed as the judges for the season.

On 1 September 2005, winner of the male category Kelvin Tan was announced as the overall winner of the season with a 64%-36% final vote, with female category winner Kelly Poon as the overall runner-up.

This season saw a profound success, and was introduced to a few contestants who would later become successful artistes: Darryl Yong who would later become a full-time Mediacorp artiste after participating another competition, Star Search , five years later in 2010, as well as Chen Jia Xin, Chew Sin Huey, Derrick Hoh, Hong Jun Yang, Sugianto and Hagen Tan, all of which became profound musicians in Singapore.

The first season of Pinoy Dream Academy formally began on August 27, 2006 and ended on December 16 of the same year. Nikki Gil was the main host of this season, while joining her in the Saturday Gala Nights were Bianca Gonzalez, Roxanne Barcelo, and Toni Gonzaga. Sam Milby was also part of the Saturday shows, but had stopped appearing mid-season. Barcelo also hosted the UpLate edition of the show.

<i>I Supermodel</i> (season 1) Season of television series

I Supermodel 1 is the first season of the Chinese reality show and modeling competition of the same name. Filming for the show took place in Melbourne, Australia. The show featured 14 contestants in the final cast and began to air on television on March 21, 2015. The winner of the competition was 26-year-old Kang Qian Wen, better known professionally as Kiki Kang.

Mask Singer is a Chinese reality singing show hosted by Li Hao in which celebrities perform songs for a panel of judges while wearing elaborate masks in order to conceal their identities. The Legend of the Condor Heroes is a 2017 Chinese television series adapted from Louis Cha's novel of the same title and a remake of the 1983 Hong Kong television series based on the same novel. The series was directed by Jeffrey Chiang and starred Yang Xuwen, Li Yitong, Chen Xingxu and Meng Ziyi in the lead roles. It started airing on Dragon TV in mainland China on 9 January 2017, and on TVB Jade in Hong Kong on 8 May 2017.

<i>Go Go Squid!</i> 2019 Chinese television series

Go Go Squid! is a Chinese e-sport romance comedy television series directed by Li Qingrong and Xiang Xujing. The series was first aired in 2019, starring Yang Zi and Li Xian. It was an adaptation of Mo Bao Fei Bao's novel "Honey Stewed Squid." The series aired on Dragon TV and Zhejiang TV and was broadcast simultaneously on iQiyi and Tencent Video from July 9 to July 31, 2019.

GeTai Challenge 2015(Chinese: 歌台星力量; pinyin: Gē Tái Xīng Lìliàng) is the first season of Singaporean singing reality competition GeTai Challenge that premiered on 25 May 2015 and run for 13 weeks, with the finals taped at Resorts World Sentosa on 13 August 2015 and ended on 17 August 2015. The competition features Getai singers from all across Singapore competing out for the title of GeTai Challenge winner. The show was hosted by Pornsak and Wang Weiliang, and guest host Shane Pow on two performance shows at Yishun.

<i>Singer</i> (season 7) Seventh season of Chinese television series Singer

The seventh season of Chinese television series Singer was broadcast on Hunan Television between January and April 2019. Singer 2019 was produced by Hong Tao, and its music director was Hong Kong senior musician Kubert Leung. The first episode was recorded on January 4, 2019, and first premiered in Mango TV on January 11, 2019. YouTube also broadcast the episodes with the results replaced by commercial snippets.
