Early life and education

Promise Emmanuel, also known as Kogi Rebel, hails from Igah in Olamaboro local government of Kogi State. [1]

He holds a degree in mass communication from the Kogi State University, Anyigba. He is a media psychologist with interests in solution articles, social research and political media strategy focusing on new media. [2]

Career

Emmanuel was appointed as the chief press secretary to the deputy governor of Kogi State, Edward David Onoja in October 2019. [3] [4]

He earns from writing and research. He has worked as an OAP (on-air personality), head of media, African Development Studies Center, front desk officer, Resource intermediaries Limited, admin officer, Keystone Bank, office assistant, Maersk Shipping Coy. He also freelances for many Nigerian national newspapers. [5]

Delta State is a state in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Dr. Samuel Maduka Onyishi was born in Nsukka, Enugu State, in November 1963 and is considered a successful business mogul of the Enugu Northern extraction. owing to the loss of his father in his first year in secondary school, an incidence that forced him to assume the role of pseudo breadwinner to his family consisting of his widowed mother and siblings. Dr. Sam Onyishi, as he is mostly called, attended the Enugu Road Primary School, Nsukka from 1971 to 1976 then was admitted into Bubendorf Grammar School, Adazi, in the present day Anambra State. Kogi East senatorial district is the largest of the three senatorial districts in Kogi State with nine local governments and 51 per cent of total voter population of Kogi State. The senatorial district covers Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela/Odolu, Ofu, Dekina, Ankpa, Olamaboro, Bassa and Omala local governments. The district is currently represented by Senator Jibrin Isah.

Emmanuel Chinenye Ugolee, is a Nigerian media personality, producer, voice over artist and author. He was born in Jos, Plateau state.

The 2019 Kogi State gubernatorial election occurred on 16 November 2019. Incumbent APC Governor Yahaya Bello won re-election for a second term, defeating PDP Musa Wada and several minor party candidates.
