Japan is an island country in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies off the eastern coast of the Asian continent and stretches from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and the Philippine Sea in the south.
Singer-songwriters are musicians who write, compose, and perform their own musical material, including lyrics and melodies.
Rurutia (ルルティア) is a Japanese singer/songwriter. She began her career in 2001 with the release of the single "Itoshigo yo" when she was signed with Toshiba-EMI. She is currently signed with Phoerix Records and has released twelve albums and eleven singles. Rurutia is intensely private; most aspects of her life - such as her real name and age - are not known to the public. This, added to her whispered vocals, creates a unique and mysterious artistic persona.
