Provo College is a private for-profit college focused on health care programs and located in Provo, Utah.
What is now Provo College opened in 1984 under the name of Dental Careers Institute. Its name changed to Advanced Careers Institute and finally, in December 1989, it was named Provo College. The name change reflected the broadened scope of the college with the addition of curriculum in court reporting and medical transcription.
In April 1992, the school was acquired by the Center for Professional Studies, Inc. and relocated to its current location. During 1996 and 1997, the college expanded its offerings and added the Associate of Applied Science degree to all its programs. Subsequently, in 2005, Provo College was granted approval from ACCSC to change its degree offering from Associate of Applied Science to Associate of Science. Bachelor's degrees were added in 2013.
An associate degree is an undergraduate degree awarded after a course of post-secondary study lasting two to three years. It is a level of qualification between a high school diploma, GED, and a bachelor's degree.
Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology is a private college in East Elmhurst, New York, specialized in aviation and engineering education. It is adjacent to LaGuardia Airport but was founded in Newark, New Jersey in 1932 before moving to New York City in 1940. The college's most recent name change, to honor a founder, was on September 1, 2004.

Utah County Academy of Sciences (UCAS) is a small charter high school in association with Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah, United States. UCAS students travel from school districts in the surrounding Utah County area including Nebo School District, Alpine School District, and Provo School District.
Broadview University, formerly Utah Career College, is a for-profit university with campuses in Utah and Idaho. It provides specialized career training for health science, business, legal science, information technology, and entertainment arts; most degrees it awards are Associate degrees. Broadview has five locations and online programs.
Neumont College of Computer Science is a for-profit career college in Salt Lake City, Utah. It was founded in 2003 by Graham Doxey, Scott McKinley, and Marlow Einelund. The school focuses on applied computer science and is currently accredited by the ACCSC.
Gwinnett Technical College is a public technical school in the U.S. state of Georgia with campuses in Lawrenceville and Alpharetta. It is a unit of the Technical College System of Georgia and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Since opening its doors as the Gwinnett Area Technical School in 1984, the college has added numerous programs of study, made two name changes, expanded its facilities and experienced enrollment growth. Eagle Gate College is a for-profit college in Utah, United States that specializes in health career education. The college is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools Eagle Gate College offers Bachelor's, associates, certificates, and diplomas in fields such as Medical Assisting, Nursing, Business Administration, and Criminal Justice. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The college is located in Utah with campus locations in Murray, Provo, and Layton. In addition to the campus locations, Eagle Gate College also offers programs online.
Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Minneapolis/Saint Paul was founded in 1999. The college is owned by Career Education Corporation under a licensing agreement with Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. The school is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). Located in Mendota Heights, Minnesota, the school offers Associate in Applied Science degrees in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts and Le Cordon Bleu Patisserie & Baking and a Certificate Program in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. All US Le Cordon Bleu College locations are scheduled to close in 2017.
