Ptuj Airport( ICAO : LJPT) (Slovene : Letališče Ptuj) is a sport and tourist airport, located to the north of Moškanjci near Ptuj in Slovenia. [1]

Ptuj, the oldest recorded city in Slovenia, has been inhabited since the late Stone Age and developed from a Roman military fort. Markovci is a settlement and a small municipality in northeastern Slovenia. It lies southeast of Ptuj next to Lake Ptuj, a reservoir on the Drava River. Traditionally the area was part of the Styria region. The municipality is now included in the Drava Statistical Region.
Nogometni klub Drava Ptuj, commonly referred to as NK Drava Ptuj or simply Drava, was a Slovenian football club, which played in the town of Ptuj. Named after the Drava river which flows through the town, Drava Ptuj has spent a total of seven season in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, the top division of the Slovenian football pyramid. The club was dissolved following the 2010–11 Slovenian Second League when they were unable to obtain competition licences issued by the Football Association of Slovenia.

Lake Ptuj is a reservoir on the Drava River southeast of the town of Ptuj in eastern Slovenia. It is the largest reservoir in Slovenia and was created in 1978 when a dam for the Formin hydroelectric power plant was built on the Drava. The Orpheus Monument is a Roman monument in Ptuj, Slovenia, an almost 5 metres (16 ft) high and about 1.8 metres wide stele, carved of white Pohorje marble. It is located at Slovene Square, the town's central square, in front of the Town Tower. It is the oldest public monument preserved in its original location in Slovenia, the largest discovered monument from the Roman province of the Pannonia Superior, and the symbol of Ptuj.
