A central business district (CBD) is the commercial and business center of a city. It contains commercial space and offices, and in larger cities will often be described as a financial district. Geographically, it often coincides with the "city centre" or "downtown". However, these concepts are not necessarily synonymous: many cities have a central business district located away from its traditional city center, and there may be multiple CBDs within a single urban area. The CBD will often be highly accessible and have a large variety and concentration of specialised goods and services compared to other parts of the city.

The PNC Center is a 108-meter tall office building located in Cincinnati, Ohio. It is located primarily in the Central Business District and borders Main Street and East Fifth Street. The building's 27 floors are used for office and commercial use. On the southeast corner of Fifth and Main streets is a public plaza.
Zifeng Tower is a 450-meter (1,480 ft) supertall skyscraper in Nanjing, Jiangsu. The 66-story building completed in 2010 comprises retail and office. Floors 49–71 feature a hotel, numerous restaurants, and a public observatory. The tower's stepping is functional; office, hotel, and retail are located above grade, while the restaurants and the public observatory are housed at the top of the tower. The building is currently the tallest in Nanjing and Jiangsu province, the eleventh tallest in China and the twentieth tallest in the world.
First Interstate Center is a signature commercial office building located in the Transwestern Plaza, a complex consisting of four office towers with a total of 35 floors, three 5 floor buildings and one 20 story tower, in the downtown core of Billings, Montana, United States. It is not the tallest building in the northern Rockies, the tallest is Brookfield place Calgary, and the tallest in the state of Montana. It was built in 1985 and rises to 272 feet. It is used primarily for office space.
Hafeez Sorab Contractor is an Indian architect. He has designed many skyscrapers in India, primarily in the city of Mumbai. As of 2019, he is the architect of the three tallest buildings in India – The 42 in Kolkata, and the twin towers of The Imperial in Mumbai. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in January 2016 by the Government of India.
Downtown Boston is the central business district of Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Boston was founded in 1630. The largest of the city's commercial districts, Downtown is the location of many corporate or regional headquarters; city, county, state and federal government facilities; and many of Boston's tourist attractions. Similar to other central business districts in the U.S., Downtown has recently undergone a transformation that included the construction of new condos and lofts, renovation of historic buildings, and arrival of new residents and businesses. It is represented in the Boston City Council by District 2's Ed Flynn.
Wadi Abdoun Bridge or the Kamal Al-Shair Bridge is a bridge in Amman, Jordan. The only cable-stayed bridge in the country, it crosses the Wadi Abdoun. The building of the bridge commenced on 14 December 2002, and it was opened on 14 December 2006 and was built by Larsen & Toubro Limited, an Indian multinational company. It is part of Amman's Beltway project and links South Amman to the 4th Circle and Zahran Street. Since it was opened it has witnessed over 70 cases of attempted suicide.

Pioneered by the UB Group in a joint venture with Prestige Group, it is built on 13 acres (53,000 m2) of land and hosts 1,000,000 sq ft (93,000 m2) of high-end commercial, retail and service apartment space.
The central business district of Bangalore is the area within a 6 km radius around Vidhan Soudha. This is the center of Bangalore and was founded by Kempegowda of the Vijayanagara Empire. Most of the land is used by commercial establishments and the Indian Army with plans of skyscrapers under works. It has multiple high-rises including World Trade Center Bangalore and UB Tower. It also includes heritage properties like the Bangalore Fort and the Bangalore Pete.
The LIM Center is a skyscraper located in Warsaw, Poland. It was completed in 1989 and is 140 m (460 ft) tall making it Poland's 16th tallest building. The building housed the Warsaw Marriott Hotel until 2024. It is currently the seat of the Warsaw Presidential Hotel.

Fortune Center, also known as Yuexiu Financial Tower, is a 68-storey, 309.6 m (1,016 ft) supertall skyscraper in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Construction started in 2011 and was completed in 2015.
The World Trade Center, Chennai is a 28-storeyed commercial and residential centre in Chennai, India. Located at Perungudi, it was made operational in March 2020. The centre consists of 170,000 square metres (1,800,000 sq ft) of office space. The complex also includes a conference/exhibition centre. The towers are IGBC LEED Platinum and USGBC LEED Gold certified. The centre is a member of the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA). Tower A of the WTC complex is the tallest commercial establishment in the city.

The World Trade Center Bangalore (WTCB) is a building complex located in Malleswaram West, Bangalore, India, which was opened for operation in 2010. Built by Brigade Group who obtained the WTCA license for its construction, the building became the second World Trade Center in India after the one in Mumbai. At 128 m, the WTCB was the tallest commercial building in south India from 2010 till 2015 and the tallest building in Bangalore between 2010 and 2013. The building is part of an integrated enclave called "Brigade Gateway", along with Orion Mall, Manipal Hospital, Sheraton Hotel, Brigade School and Brigade Gateway Apartments.
Church Street is a busy street in the Central Business District of Bangalore, India. It is a 750-metre stretch from Brigade Road to St. Mark's Road, running parallel to M G Road. The street is named for St. Mark's Cathedral to which it leads.
