Pueblo City Park is a park established in 1904 in Pueblo, Colorado. It is managed by the Pueblo Department of Parks and Recreation. When the park first opened in 1904, the Pueblo Star-Journal published a full-page description of the park under the headline "City Park, Soon To Be Opened To The Public, Will Have The Handsomest Gates In The West." The Pueblo Chemical Depot was one of the last two sites in the United States with chemical munitions and chemical material. The Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) which is under the Program Executive Office, Assembled Chemical Weapons Alternatives program destroyed its stockpile of 155mm and 105mm artillery shells and 4.2-inch mortars, all of which contained a form of the chemical agent mustard gas.

Area code 719 is a telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for the U.S. state of Colorado. The numbering plan area (NPA) includes Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Monument, Leadville, Alamosa, Monte Vista, the San Luis Valley, Cañon City, Trinidad, Rocky Ford, La Junta, Walsenburg and southeastern Colorado. It was created in a split of area code 303 on March 5, 1988. While 303 had been Colorado's sole area code for 40 years, the state's explosive growth in the second half of the 20th century made it apparent that the state would need another area code. 719 was split off when an impending number shortage meant the split could no longer be staved off.

The Historic Arkansas Riverwalk is a riverwalk in the city of Pueblo, Colorado, along the Arkansas River. The riverwalk was constructed as part of an effort to attract tourists and trade to the city. The riverwalk features history about the Pueblo Flood of 1921, and also hosts recreation and restaurants.

The Eden train wreck of August 7, 1904, occurred when the No. 11 Missouri Pacific Flyer from Denver, Colorado, to St Louis, Missouri, crossed the Dry Creek arroyo bridge near Eden Station, 8 miles (13 km) north of Pueblo, Colorado. As the engine crossed the bridge, a flash flood wave passed over the trestle shearing off the front half of the train and dragging 88 people to their deaths with 22 missing and another dying later of injuries.

Veterans' Bridge is a $1.5 million pedestrian footbridge and monument honoring all veterans regardless of branch of military service or whether they served in peace time or war.
