Pulheimer SC is a German sports club from Pulheim. It has sections for association football, handball, baseball (Pulheim Gophers), hockey, inline hockey, volleyball, badminton, tennis, table tennis, budo, fencing, track and field, cycling, swimming, dancing, and chess.

In June 1924, SC Sparta Pulheim was founded as a football club. Numerous other sports were added over the years. On 9 September 1966 it merged with VfL Pulheim (founded 1957), creating the modern club. [1]

Successful club members in individual sports include Gerald Ciolek (road cycling) and Helga Arendt (400 metres).

The team competes in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), the highest level of play in professional German ice hockey, and is also one of the league's founding members. The Eisbären have won the DEL championship more often than any other team, with eight DEL championships as of the 2020–21 season. They won the German ice hockey cup in 2008 as well as the European Trophy in 2010. Before reunification the team won the East German ice hockey championship 15 times as SC Dynamo Berlin.

1. Fußballclub Lokomotive Leipzig e.V. is a German football club based in the Probstheida district of Leipzig, Saxony. The club may be more familiar to many of the country's football fans as the historic side VfB Leipzig, the first national champion of Germany. The club won four cup titles and the 1965–66 Intertoto Cup during the East German era. It also finished runner-up in the 1986–87 European Cup Winners' Cup. 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig was renamed VfB Leipzig after German re-unification and managed to qualify for the Bundesliga in 1993. However, like many clubs of the former DDR-Oberliga, VfB Leipzig faced hard times in re-unified Germany and a steady decline soon followed. 1. SG Dynamo Hohenschönhausen East German sports club

SG Dynamo Hohenschönhausen was an East German sports community from Berlin, affiliated to the SV Dynamo. The sport community offered a wide rang of sports. Its football departement was active from 1953 and until 1966.

The DFB-Pokal 2009–10 was the 30th season of the cup competition, Germany's second-most important title in women's football. The tournament started on 13 September 2009 and the final was held on 15 May 2010 in Cologne. FCR 2001 Duisburg defeated FF USV Jena 1–0, thus defending their title from the previous season and claiming their third. The final set a European record for the largest attendance of a national women's club game with 26,282 visitors in the RheinEnergieStadion, Cologne.

Pulheim Gophers

The Pulheim Gophers are a baseball and softball section of the sports club Pulheimer SC from Pulheim, North Rhine-Westphalia. The club was founded in 1989, and the first men's team was promoted to the first division of the Baseball Bundesliga in 2008, having previously played in the first division for the 2001, 2002 and 2004 seasons. After finishing in last place with a 6–18 record in 2009, the team improved to 11–17 in 2010, finishing fifth and only one game out of a playoff spot.
